Erasmus University Hosts European Association of Tax Law Professors Congress 2012

From May 31st to June 2nd, the Erasmus Tax Law Department hosts the annual congress of the European Association of Tax Law Professors.

The annual Congress of the European Association of Tax Law Professors (EATLP) will be held this year 31 May – 2 June in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The Academic Committee under the inspiring chairmanship of Peter Essers, general reporter Frans Vanistendael and his team of national and topic reporters, and conference organizers Henk van Arendonk and Han Kogels of the hosting Erasmus University Rotterdam have all worked hard to make our 2012 Congress an inspiring event.

The Rotterdam congress subject – Taxation of charities – is again an example of an important and interesting topic that will not be easily taken up by one of the more broadly constituted other international tax associations. The program can be found here: link
 
The Congress is combined with a seminar on the occassion of the 20th anniversary of the periodical EC Tax Reciew. The seminar program can be found here:  link

During the Congress, PhD candidates from various European countries will present their research during a poster presentation session. Most of the PhD candidates of the Erasmus Tax Law Department will participate in this session.
